In H1 2011, the gross monthly wage in the wage sphere grew; in the salary sphere, salaries were decreased. In the wage sphere, the gross monthly wage median amounted to CZK 20,085 and thereby rose by 2.9% as compared to the same period of the previous year. The gross monthly salary median decreased year-on-year by 0.1% to CZK 23,196 in the monitored period.
During H1 2011, employees in the wage sphere worked on average 155.3 hours per month. In the salary sphere, employees worked on average 157.4 hours per month, i.e. 2.1 hours more than in the wage sphere.
